Level I Cashier

Full Time ($12 – $14 Per Hour )

Level I Cashier reports to the Front End Manager and Sales Floor Manager. They provide legendary customer service by ringing up the customer promptly and accurately, as well as offer the solutions to the customers needs on the sales floor. Level I Cashiers are encouraged to apply for Level II positions within 1 year from date of hire.

Responsibilities Will Include But Are Not Limited To, The Following:

  • Offer Ace Rewards Membership
  • Call Carry Outs As Needed
  • Insure The Customer Has The Entire Project By Suggesting Additional And Related Items
  • Customer Service Is Priority One At All Times, Treating Each Customer As An Honored Guest
  • Participate In All Store Training
  • Executing the IISS Sales Model Offering Sales Solutions To Customer Projects
  • Executing All Store Services, Such As Mixing Paint, Cutting Glass, Pipe, and Keys
  • Stock All Warehouse, Drop Ship, And Back Stock Inventory
  • Special Ordering Product For Customer
  • Answer Telephones (Before the Third Ring) Direct Calls Appropriately
  • Be Alert For Shoplifting Activity
  • Set A Positive Example By Following Company Procedures And Positive Communication
  • Focus On Needs Of Others, Which Includes Cooperation With Team Members, Helpfulness, Responsiveness, and Service Orientation
  • All Other Duties As Needed

Required Skills

  • Proven Ability To Equate Weights And Measurements
  • Proficiency With All Store Equipment
  • Proficiency With All Store Technology (i.e. ACENET and POS Computers)
  • Ability To Pass Basic To Intermediate Skill Assessments In Assigned Departments, As Well As Technology, Equipment, And Store Services Within 45 Days of Hire.
